Part of a series I've been working on for several years about changes in my local community and the local people.
I was lost on a little dirt road that ended at these folks house. Finding myself in their front yard and them sitting on the porch, I had to stop. We got into conversation and I asked if I could photograph them. They were very friendly, not the least concerned about their conditions and willing obliged. I shot one entire 35mm roll as we talked.
Honest, this family had a dog under the house that just had another litter of puppies.
