Plaça de Sant Felip Neri
In the Gothic neighbourhood of Barcelona (Spain), just past the Bishop's Palace, visitors come to the Plaça Sant Felip Neri, which used to be the site of a cemetery in the Middle Ages. There's a Baroque church, built in 1752, which has a rather unfortunate history: during the Spanish Civil War, a bomb fell on it, killing 20 children who seeked shelter inside; the results of the bombing can still be seen in the walls. 2006-12-07.
