the Daily Photo - One day, one photograph
Bob Michaels
Freight Train Frank

Frank swept floors at this truck stop diner but bailed them out financially when business was slow (more info)
Frank is a rather infamous local character who lived in a 1955 Greyhound bus until a few months ago. I know him fairly well and photographed him many times as a part of the series I'm doing on the local community. But Frank always told everyone that the photo series was just about him. He's competent but eccentric and worked at a pipefitter until about ten years ago. He is not destitute as he has an inheritance. When times get tough, Frank simply gets himself arrested to have housing, meals, and medical care furnished.
Bob, great photo, and I really appreciate using reflections. However, are you certain that FT Frank's real name isn't Herman Leonard? Sure looks like him. Cheers,
Phil
for what reason I'm not sure. Frank Veverkla. He's originally from Akron OH. He has several scrapbooks with newspaper articles chronicling his life.
