the Daily Photo - One day, one photograph
Bob Michaels
Dwight, low budget winter resident of Daytona Beach
Dwight rattles off a verbal autobiography that would make a Nobel Prize winner feel inadequate. I did notice he was very experienced at rolling his own cigarettes.
There is something unique about meeting, getting to know and photographing people like this. You make the most of everything as you never know if you'll see them again next week or your paths will never cross again.
This is another of the early photos that eventually led me to do the color series "Six Months on the Boardwalk"

as i have said elsewhere on this website (operative word, somehwhere) i can't seem to figure out where to respond to images. click here, click there, but it is not clear what click will get to the photo to comment. with luck this will arrive where it is intended. but I digress...
as usual it seems to me you managed to capture the very soul of your subject. besides, its a damned fine photograph.
anyone who disagrees simply does not have eyes..., and i am willing to defend my opinion.
